Fans betting on the Yankees at Yankee stadium have only altered their affiliation slightly, as the new Yankee Stadium is now the house that Jeter, Rivera and A-Rod built, rather than the house that Ruth, Mantle and DiMaggio built. Nevertheless, betting enthusiasts in the modern day, can still expect the same results from this current group of Yankee stars, as winning World Series at Yankee Stadium, has become synonymous with the team itself.

Prior to winning the World Series in 2009, it appeared as if the team could not meet the high expectations it placed on itself, as although they had annually spent millions on improving the roster, the team had not won a title since 2000. Finally however, in 2009 when the team came to the new Yankee Stadium, the right crop of players appeared to have been found. Along with Jeter, Rivera and A-Rod came Mark Teixeira, AJ Burnett, and CC Sabathia. One main Achilles heel for the Yankees whether at home or away, was the starting pitching. As a result, the team was plagued with early post season exits, and a large amount of losses. Burnett and Sabathia as the team's starting two pitchers brought stability, and both enjoyed much success at home.

Sabathia was a part of three firsts for the new Yankee Stadium, as he was the team's home opener starter on April 16, 2009, as well as the starting pitcher for the first ever playoff game at the new Yankee Stadium, lastly he won the first ever playoff game at the new Yankee Stadium.

Although switching buildings, the Yankees still hold true to their roots, as they have their own hall of fame setup in the new Yankee stadium, for fans to take pictures of. Some of the memorabilia in the stadium includes retired jerseys and photos of former players.
